Airfest Photowalk

Airfest in Steamboat Springs

I’m rallying an Airfest Photowalk at the Bob Adams airport here in Steamboat Springs tomorrow night. There will be tons of cool planes coming in for the Airfest this weekend and this is a great opportunity to have fun, take some great shots and hang out with other photographers!

What’s a Photowalk?
We’ll take pics for a while, share insights, ideas then if it makes sense head to a bar or other eatery/drinkery and share and compare, share, discuss, and have a good time.

September 2010 Computer Wallpaper

Goodbye August – I hardly new ya!
Well, September is here which for us is the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Where does the time go?

The thing that sets Steamboat apart from other “resort” locations is that we have a real community, real businesses and real people. Often we forget that Steamboat has more to it than endless vistas, wide open spaces and towering Rocky Mountains.

New & Improved Steamboat e-Cards

ecardDemo

The free ecard system has just been improved & updated.

The new eCard includes a bigger photo area and has complete message embedded within. Now as soon as the recipient opens the email – and views the image – the sender gets notified. There’s also a ‘toolbar’ below the image in the email which offers prints and cards and more options with the photos.

This improvement not only makes the notification system more reliable, it also makes it easier for people to see the card in one place. In addition, users have the option to order prints and other products featuring the photo.

So head over to the portfolio and send a few to your friends!

Show your love for the South – South Routt that is! Hey, any touron can fall in love with tall pointy mountains and groomed ski slopes but it’s only those with an acquired taste who can truly appreciate the landscape of South Routt.

July 2010 Steamboat Springs Computer wallpaper

Summers in Steamboat are too short. That’s too bad because summer is my  favorite season as it is for most I know in Steamboat. With so much to do, great weather and lots of daylight we just love being outside. July is especially fun with a big event every weekend and great tubing on the Yampa river.
